Cardi B arrives Lagos to perform at the Livespot X Festival

The festival will feature Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, Shatta Wale, R2bees among others who will perform alongside Cardi B on stage.

Grammy award-winning rapper and social media sensation, Cardi B, has arrived Lagos to perform in Nigeria at the Livespot X Festival. 

This is the star's first visit to the African continent where she would be performing in Nigeria and Ghana respectivley.

Last month, Cardi B announced that she would be performing at the Livespot X Festival in Lagos, Nigeria and Accra, Ghana in an Instagram post, "Africa. I'm coming! Nigeria and Ghana," she wrote at the time.

And yesterday, she confirmed her visit in another post, where she posted a video of herself dancing in excitment on board Nigeria about her visit, she said, "1:03am drop my KK in NY on my way to Afrriiiiicaaaaaaaaaa baybeeeee!!!!!!."

The festival is organized by Livespot 360, a digital agency based in Lagos.

The festival will feature Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, Shatta Wale, R2bees among others who will perform alongside Cardi B on stage.

Meaanwhile, Cardi B announced her arrival at the late hours of yesterday via a video which has gone viral where she is seen excitedly saying, "Hellooo, we are at the motherfucking Nigeria... there is no light, this shit looks like Domincan Republic..."

On her way to her hotel, Cardi is said to have passed Oshodi where there is hardly any electricity and then compared Nigeria to Dominican Republic.

The show would be held at the Lagos Atlantic Hotel by 2pm in the afternoon of Saturday and is expected to attract a pool of Nigerian lovers of Cardi B's sensational music and all lovers of music in Nigeria.
