Nigeria's Coscharis Group Partners French Car Maker, Renault To Assemble Cars In Nigeria

The Coscharis Group car manufacturing plant will begin operation from October.  Renault announced that the plant will start assembling Renault Logan and Renault Duster vehicles first.

Nigeria's premium car dealership brand, Coscharis Group, has partnered with French Carmaker, Renault Groupe to assemble and distribute Renault cars in Nigeria. 

The vice-president and chairman of Africa, Middle East and Indie Pacific, Renault Groupe,  Fabrice Cambolive, disclosed this to newsmen on Thursday.

He described Nigeria as a strategic market in which Renault is happy to invest in.

“With a population of over 200 million, Nigeria is a strategic African country where Groupe Renault will extend its footprint,” he said.

The Coscharis Group car manufacturing plant will begin operation from October. 

Renault announced that the plant will start assembling Renault Logan and Renault Duster vehicles first. 

The vehicles will be distributed by Coscharis Group through their sales network throughout Nigeria.
